Dr. Joe Robinson, M.D., attended medical school at the University of South Alabama. He graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and was president of his senior class. After medical school, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. For 40 years, he worked with Fort Mill Gynecological and Obstetrics Associates and was also a senior partner at Rock Hill Gynecology and Obstetrics Associates. Fun fact: Dr. Robinson has delivered over 13,000 babies!
Dr. Robinson was the first in his region to perform advanced procedures such as endometrial ablation, robotic hysterectomy, abdominal cerclage, and robotic sacrocolpopexy.
Dr. Robinson transitioned to aesthetic medicine after retiring from clinical OB/GYN. He is now a partner and Medical Director at Southeast Sculpting & Rejuvenation in Fort Mill, SC. Dr. Robinson works with male BHRT patients and performs women’s services such as Morpheus 8V, Votiva, and MonaLisa Laser therapy. He is also the primary injector at Southeast Sculpting & Rejuvenation, where he performs all toxins, fillers, Sculptra, Cellenis Derma, etc.
Dr. Robinson enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and traveling in his free time. He is married to his wife, Sydney Robinson, and has two children, Matthew M. Robinson of Greenwich, CT. His wife is Sarah, and his daughter is Alice. His second child is Craigen Albergotti; her husband is Phillip, and their children are Mary and Will. They live in Murrells Inlet, SC.
Dr. Robinson was recently presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the South Atlantic OB-GYN Society. He is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists,
American Urogynecologic Society, South Atlantic Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, AOA Medical Honorary Society, South Carolina Ob/Gyn Society, South Carolina Medical Association, and York County Medical Society.
